BIOGRAPHY       Goose Creek Crew member Johnny Ray Plemens was born in the mountains of Eastern Tennessee in the glorious '60s. He was raised with a deep respect for nature and says the outdoors has become his church. He supports and is very interested in the ways and beliefs of the Native American.       It's not surprising then, that John was introduced to Goose Creek Symphony music at the age of nine. There is a large and diverse collection of Gooseheads in them thar hills.       John is an avid music lover, with his other favorite artists running the gamut from Pink Floyd and Beatles to Widespread Panic, Phish and Bela Fleck.       Carefully chosen and designed tattoos cover John's chest, back and arms. Several Goose albums are represented on Johnny Ray's body, along with art from various other albums.       On the road John likes to work hard and play hard.       You'll see him loading in and out, tossing towels to band members and delivering drinks and instruments, checking wires and checking out those of the female persuasion.      John recommends that we all "recognize that we are related, love everything that lives and be at the center of life."
