Dear Gooseheads,

Just a note to let you know the latest news from Goose Creek. Hope everyone made it through the cold hard months of winter and is ready for some sun and fun; I know I am.

First order of business--Goose on the Lake! Each year there are some folks who don't hear about it in time to make their plans to attend, so we are trying to get the word out.

June 4, 2005 is this year's date for the 10th Annual Goose on the Lake in Allegre, Kentucky!

It should be just perfect weather for camping, picking, grinning, grilling, swimming, campfires, visiting and all those things we love to do at the Settle Farm!

This year is going to be EXTRA special as Goose Creek Symphony brings back several original members to play along with the regular players.

Fiddler extraodanaire Jumpin' Jon Parry will be back, as well as Wild Willard, the guitar guru who Willardized some of the early GCS albums. On keyboards we'll have the fabulous Rick Galbreath. Rick's an original member from the old days who appears on the latest Goose Creek album, "i don't know."

I have been to every Goose on the Lake (affectionately referred to around here as GOTL) and I'm here to testify that there's always a screaming, energetic, excited crowd that WILL be heard! So come be a part of a happening weekend June 4th, 2005 with Goose Creek Symphony, Bonepony and Nelly Wilson, Lloyd, Timmy and all the GOTL Flock. -- For more info go to Goose on the Lake Web site

--9th Annual Goose on the Lake, Allegre, Kentucky.

The band is scheduled to play June 12 at the Mountain Arts Center (MAC) in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Charlie's hometown area. The band's performance at the theater there is always such a fantastic event, like a homecoming heaven in the hills of Eastern Kentucky.

There are other concerts scheduled as well so be sure to check out our concert landings page. We will add to it as we go this year so please keep in touch.

We can keep more in touch with you if you sign up for our email newsletters and announcements.

We also have a good time checking in with friends, new and old, on our message board. Won't you join us?

Orders for Goose Creek's new CD "i don't know," and Paul Spradlin's "Pearl Dust," keep pouring in. Have you got your copy yet? Buy it here!

Later with the lowdown,

Dale
